Christina is chased by a hunter through the woods around August 16, 2006. She thinks she is safe, and steps out from behind the tree she was using to hide, but the hunter appears and chops her head off.
Later on in the morgue, Dean and Sam examine her body, and her head. Dean finds the retractable vampire fang. They realize Christina was not an innocent killed by a monster, but a monster killed by a hunter.
Later still, they learn the truth - Christina did not kill any humans, but the hunter insisted on killing her.
Just like all other vampires, Christina has the same powers and abilities that all vampires have.
Just like all other vampires, Christina is vulnerable to all things that make vampires vulnerable.
