Biography

Gordon tracks the vampire through the woods in Bloodlust, beheading her when she thinks she's safe. He spots the Winchesters trying to horn in on his vampire hunt, asking questions at a bar. After introductions, in which Dean and Sam want to make sure Gordon isn't a vampire and he shows them that he is fangless, he tells them he met their father. They have big shoes to fill, but it sounds like through the hunter grapevine, that they are doing good. He assures them he has this hunt, and tries to send them on their way. Gordon is next seen trying to kill a vampire who is working as a security guard, but Gordon himself almost gets it when the boys rescue him. Later, while celebrating at a bar, Sam leaves Gordon and Dean to head back to the hotel after telling Gordon only Dean gets to call him Sammy. Gordon bonds with Dean over drinks. Dean tells about the hunt that changed his life, when he embraced it. Gordon tells how he got into the life. He was home with his sister and a vampire breaks in. He tried to shoot it, but it flung him across the room, knocking him cold. He couldn't explain it to his family, so he left and found out how to track and kill vampires. That fang was his first kill. He still misses his sister, the way she was. Dean opens up about how much he misses his indestructible Dad. He can't talk about this to Sammy. Guessing it's a hole inside Dean, Gordon informs him to keep him hungry to do his job. Gordon loves that this job is all black and white - no gray. Dean doesn't think Sam would think so, and Gordon remarks that Sam isn't like them. That Dean and he are killers, it's in their blood.

The two of them go back to the Winchester's room at the hotel and discuss strategy for finding the nest. Dean's a bit worried over Sam being missing when he shows up. They go outside to talk, but Gordon slips around the corner in the shadows to listen in. Once he realizes that Sam's going to talk Dean out of the hunt, Gordon snakes the Impala's keys and hightails it. Taking an educated guess, Gordon finds the nest. Taking Lenore prisoner, he tortures her by cutting her with dead man's blood to find out where the rest of the nest is. Dean and Sam show up, so he offers another knife to them. They try to talk him to stop, but Gordon pulls out a machete to kill her. Dean tries to talk Gordon down, saying other vampires deserved to die - Gordon interrupts, informing them that his sister was turned. That he put her down himself, because it wasn't human. Sam realizes that Gordon knew all along these vampires weren't killing people. Gordon decides to prove that vampires are evil. Grabbing Sam's arm and cutting it, he maneuvers it over Lenore's face. At first her fangs come out and she hisses, but then she pulls them back stating no. Gordon is shocked, and Sam pushes him away to get to Lenore. Dean pulls a gun on Gordon while Sam leaves with the vampire. Gordon wants to go after Sam, but Dean won't allow it. Gordon sticks his knife in the table and waits. As Dean pulls out his clip and turns away to disarm himself, Gordon jumps him. They start fighting; Gordon grabs his knife to Dean's dismay. Dean manages to shove Gordon into a wall, repeatedly hitting his arm until Gordon turns loose of the knife. Gordon asks Dean if he's doing this for a fang, declaring they are on the same side! That Dean isn't like Sam, that he's a killer. Dean knocks Gordon semi-conscious, before walking him into a wall head first. Tying up Gordon to a chair, Dean declares he might be like him, but he's not tied up. After sunrise, Sam returns to the farmhouse, asking if he missed anything, and that all the vampires got out. Dean assures Sam he missed nothing before asking Gordon if he had to tinkle yet. They'll call someone to come out in two or three days to untie Gordon, before Dean hits him so hard Gordon and the chair fall over. The boys leave. Several days later Gordon is untied by friends of the Winchesters.

In Mommy Dearest, Dean asks if Lenore remembers them. She reminds them their hunter friend almost killed her. Sam assures her Gordon is dead, and Dean smiles over the way Sam did it - with razor wire.

Appearance

At 6', Gordon is a formidable hunter, and not one to trifle with. He is a lean muscular man, in top physical condition. He is black, with brown eyes and is bald.

Personality

An excellent fighter, he likes to fight with a knife, as vampires seem to be his sworn enemies. He sees everything in black and white - no greys. He is also crazy, and refuses to give up when he sets his sights on something.

Weaponry

As an experienced hunter, Gordon was extremely skilled in the use of numerous firearms, blades and explosives. He seems to prefer Heckler and Koch firearms. Throughout the series he is shown wielding a H&K MK 23 .45 caliber pistol and a H&K SL8 5.56 caliber rifle. He has also been seen using what appears to be a Winchester M70 bolt action rifle, presumably chambered with the .308 Winchester round.

He drives a red El Camino, possibly a '79-'81, with Michigan plates: TRI 208.
