Holly Morton, an abortion rights activist, was on her usual afternoon jog, when she suddenly spots a cadaverous old man with gray skin pursuing her through the woods. As she tries to out run the strange man, he is suddenly in front of her. When he lays his hand on her head, her breathing becomes very labored as her very life is being drained from her and she collapses to the ground. The strange man continues to keep his hand on her until she is completely dead.
The strange old man was being controlled by Sue Ann LeGrange and Holly's life was being traded for that of an old man with emphysema.
