Joe is called out for a job at the Cooper house. The homeowner, Jenny Cooper, meets him at the door and walks him back to the kitchen sink. The garbage disposal doesn’t work, and he starts in on his job. While he is working, an annoying toy monkey seems to be starting playing cymbals, before stopping. He takes off the U bend, cleans it out, tries to turn the disposal’s switch on and off, and then, after making sure the switch is off, reaches down into the unit. He thinks there is something down there, and tries to pull it up but is unsuccessful. He reaches back down once more, only the unit fires up and mangles his hand, spraying blood everywhere. The stupid monkey toy starts playing the cymbals again.
Later his company calls Jenny Cooper and informs her that she is being held liable for the damages done to Joe’s hand.
