Missy Bender is the youngest daughter of Abraham Bender. She has two older brothers, Lee and Jared. She knows all about the family tradition of hunting humans, but she is not allowed. |

In May 2006, Pa with Lee and Jared brought home more prey. After about a week, they brought in another prey. The next night her brothers went hunting, and Missy could hear the prey's screams when they killed him.
The next day a cop shows up on their front door. Missy felt the pretty badge, but then she is asking about a man in the photo. As Missy is looking at the photo, Pa came up behind her. Missy smiles and says, "That's gonna hurt." Pa hit her with the shovel, before asking Missy to go get her brothers. She goes to find them, still staring at the pretty photo.
Later that day Missy is startled to see another man in their house. He tries to keep her quiet, telling her that he's not gonna hurt her. Missy tells him, "I know" before she pins his jacket with her knife. Hollering for her Daddy, Missy backs up. Lee and Jared fight him a bit, before Pa hits him with the iron pan.
She is there with her family, surrounding the man as he wakes up. Pa asks questions as he gives smart mouth responses to Pa, Lee punches him once. Pa pulls out a red hot poker and burns his left shoulder. The man finally gives Pa the answers he wants, and Pa gives Lee the key to the cages. Lee is to kill the prey, and the bitch, too. Lee leaves, and the man is yelling that he'll kill them all. The gunshot is heard, but Lee doesn't answer Pa, so Pa tells Missy to watch the man. She pulls out her knife, waving it around.
There are more gunshots, but she doesn't move. After some time though, she is jumped from behind by the prey. They took her knife from her, and lock her in a closet.
